Relevant Technical Qualification (N+, S+, MCSE) and 2 year IT
Diploma;

EXPERIENCE:
- 1 years advanced
operational LAN support Technician experience;
- 2 years
specialist LAN support technician experience
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Supporting
LAN infrastructure hardware, software and peripherals
- Security maintenance
(devices and software, including various anti-virus software)
- Software
installation and maintenance, including installation of patches on
manual basis.
- PC
Installations
- Support
of workstations and peripherals (including Internet / intranet).
- Availability
of e-mail services on workstations.
- ensuring
availability of internet services on workstations
- Services
Desk activities, fault resolution and incident resolutions (these
must be based on ITIL best practices and technicians will be
requested to develop SOP'S.
- LAN
infrastructure.
- Remote
access services.
- Other
research / projects (related
to IT)
- Support,
maintain and administer desktop and mini devices.
